I picked up a tamper and knock box from Barista Underground a few months back, and my first impression was positive. Shipping was smooth, and both items looked good when I unpacked them, so I thought I’d made a solid choice.

After a bit of regular home use, though, things started to feel disappointing. The rubber on the knock box began splitting sooner than I expected, and the tamper handle has already loosened. I’m only making coffee at home, not running a busy café, so in my mind it really should have held up better.

For the price, I expected more durability. Customer service did reply, which I appreciated, but it didn’t really lead to a proper fix. I’m giving it 2 stars because it worked fine in the beginning, but overall it just didn’t feel like it matched the quality I was hoping for.

It took quite a while to get my refund, which was frustrating. I blame their customer service process for dragging it out longer than it needed to, but at least I finally got my money back in the end.

and I tried the coffee from baristaunderground.com, but it ended up being average for my taste. It smelled nice and the first sip was actually good, but after that the flavor felt a little flat. Not bad at all, just not something I’d be in a hurry to buy again. I could see someone liking it more if they’re into a lighter, softer coffee.

Barista Underground has a solid amount of coffee gear and some nice beans to choose from. I was able to find a few things I needed without much hassle, so that was a plus. Still, am I missing something with the selection? Some sections seemed well stocked, but others only had a handful of options or looked like stuff was out of stock. It’s not a bad shop by any means, just didn’t totally wow me. I’d probably check it again for basic coffee stuff, but if I wanted more variety, I’d likely shop around too...

I ordered because of what was listed on the site. But when it showed up, a few things didn’t really match. Not the worst thing ever. Just annoying. Made me second-guess buying again. They really need to double-check the product descriptions better

Ordered from Barista Underground and my package showed up fast, about 3 days. Nice. The only thing was the tracking didn’t really update much at first, so I wasn’t totally sure where it was. Annoying. But it arrived fine and quicker than I expected, so overall I’m happy and would order again.

The site is okay overall, and the prices seem reasonable. I did get my order confirmation and receipt by email without any issues, which was nice. The only annoying part was that a few things I wanted were out of stock, so I had to keep checking back. I just wish they kept more items available

I was excited to try this, but after paying I started to feel a little doubtful about what I’d get. The roast tasted kind of burnt and flat, not really fresh or balanced. It just didn’t feel worth it.

I might be being picky, but the grind seemed kind of all over the place to me. Some of it was really fine and some was way coarser, and the coffee ended up tasting off. Maybe it was just my bag or how I brewed it, but it didn’t turn out great

It tastes the same every time I order, which is kind of a relief at this point. I’m tired of places messing things up or making every order feel like a whole ordeal, so no surprises here is nice...

I had a small problem with my grinder. I reached out about the warranty. They got back to me fast. No hassle at all. They sorted it out quickly. Really happy with the support. Thanks, guys.

Support got back to me fast, which I appreciated. I’m just not totally sure yet if the product quality will hold up, so I’ll have to see how it goes

I ordered a bag from baristaunderground.com and it showed up fresher than I expected. The roast date was recent, and as soon as I opened the bag it had that really good coffee smell, not the flat or stale thing I’ve gotten from some online orders.
The taste was solid too, and I actually liked it more after it sat for a couple days. Delivery was a little slower than I was hoping for, so I’d probably take off a bit for that, but the coffee itself was fresh and definitely worth trying.

I placed my order the other day while I was trying to get a few things checked off my list, and overall it was fine, but one of the items I received wasn’t the right one. Not a huge disaster or anything, but it was a little frustrating because it was the thing I actually needed first. Everything else seemed okay, just wish that one item had been correct.

I checked out the site hoping to find some good discounts, but i didn’t come across much that felt useful. The site itself is okay and easy enough to browse, but I was expecting better deals. Maybe I just caught it at the wrong time, but it was a bit disappointing tbh

I ordered these beans for my home espresso machine, and the shots have been solid. The crema is good, the flavor is nicely balanced, and thankfully it’s not sour like a few others I’ve tried. Delivery was fine too, no issues there. I guess I was just a little disappointed because I expected them to stand out more, but they’re still decent enough that I’d probably buy them again when I run out.

My order from baristaunderground arrived in really good shape. Everything was packed securely, and nothing was damaged, which I always appreciate. It wasn’t anything flashy, just simple and done properly. Overall, a smooth experience, and I’d be happy to order from them again.
